There are trips we talk about taking for years.

The girls’ weekend everyone keeps saying they’ll plan. The European city you’ve had saved on Pinterest forever. The beautiful hotel you keep returning to every time it appears in your feed.

And sometimes, despite wanting to go, the trip simply never happens.

Schedules don’t line up. Someone doesn’t have enough vacation time. Everyone has a different budget. Nobody wants to take responsibility for planning everything.

Glitter & Ivy began with a simple idea: what if you didn’t always have to wait?

A Different Kind of Women’s Getaway

Glitter & Ivy Curated Getaways is being created for women who want to see more of the world without necessarily having to organize every detail themselves.

The vision isn’t a giant tour bus where every minute is predetermined.

And it isn’t a completely independent vacation where you’re responsible for researching every hotel, restaurant, reservation and activity.

It’s somewhere beautifully in between.

Imagine arriving at a carefully selected hotel, meeting a small group of women, enjoying a welcome gathering and experiencing some of the destination’s most memorable places together.

But also imagine having an afternoon when you can shop.

Book a spa appointment.

Go back to your room.

Find a café.

Or simply wander.

That’s the balance I want Glitter & Ivy to create.

Why “Glitter & Ivy”?

The name represents two sides of the experience.

Glitter is the celebration—the beautiful hotel, the cocktails, the dinner you talk about afterward, the outfit you were excited to pack and those little moments that make travel feel special.

Ivy represents something deeper: connection, growth and experiences that stay with us long after we’ve returned home.

Put them together and you have exactly what I want this brand to feel like.

Beautiful without being stuffy.

Elevated without being intimidating.

Social without being overwhelming.

Organized without being rigid.

And We’re Just Getting Started

The first Glitter & Ivy getaways are being developed for 2027.

Until then, this Travel Journal is where I’ll share destination ideas, hotel finds, weekend itineraries, planning advice and some of the research behind the future getaways.

You’ll also have a voice in what comes next.

I’ll be asking about destinations, trip lengths, hotels, activities, budgets and what would make you comfortable joining a women’s getaway—even if you didn’t know anyone else attending.

Because I’d rather create trips women genuinely want than guess.
